Seeking Redress

How to bring a matter before the Court

  1. 01

    Email the Court

Begin by writing to africanpeoplescourt@iiasglobal.net with a brief description of the matter and your contact information.

  2. 02

    Receive an Intake Form

A Court Officer will respond with the official Intake Form. The form captures the relevant facts, parties, jurisdiction, and the redress you are seeking.

  3. 03

    Complete and submit the form

Return the completed Intake Form to the same email address. Attach any supporting documents — letters, contracts, photographs, prior correspondence with authorities.

  4. 04

    Respond to pertinent questions

The Court Officers may follow up with clarifying questions. Prompt responses help the Court reach an informed disposition.

  5. 05

    Follow the subsequent instructions

The Court will provide guidance on the appropriate next steps — which may include legal referrals, representation, mediation, or formal advocacy on your behalf.

The African People's Court exists to serve African nationals — and the diaspora — whose rights have been infringed and who have not yet found relief through their domestic systems.
